Do the Marine compounds work on gelcoat and on paint?
XC-300, XF-500 and XC-1 Marine work on gelcoat and painted boats (XC-1 also on composites). XC-100 is the extra cut for gelcoat and mould maintenance.
How long does the protection last?
XP-700 Nano Protection protects for up to 6 months against UV, with gloss and water repellency. G-Wax spray keeps the gloss between washes.
Can I apply XP-700 in a yard where painting is done?
No. Rupes states XP-700 must not be used in painting environments: apply it away from the paint area.
Can the tubes of a RIB be polished with these products?
No. The Marine line is for gelcoat, paint and composites, meaning the hull and deck. PVC or Hypalon tubes are a different material.
Is there a way to do it all in one step?
Yes, with XC-1 Marine: it cuts and finishes in one step, removes P1500 or finer marks and is silicone-free.
Do you do demonstrations?
Yes. BestQuímica runs the demonstration on one of your boats, at the yard or marina, and prepares the quote with the machines, pads and compounds.
